Get Festival-Ready: What to Bring & Know Before You Go!

The Louisiana Cann Festival is almost here! Prepare like a pro with these tips so you can stay cool, stay safe, and enjoy every moment.

WHAT TO BRING:

    •    Sunscreen – It’s going to be HOT. Protect your skin.

    •    Handheld Fan or Misting Fan – Beat the heat in style.

    •    Hat or Head Wrap – Shield your head and face from the sun.

    •    Sunglasses – Eye protection is a must.

    •    Comfortable Clothing – Light, breathable, and festival-ready.

    •    Blanket or Towel – For lounging in shaded areas.

    •    Portable Chair (Optional) – If you want your own seat for music or panels.

    •    Phone Charger or Battery Pack – Don’t miss a moment!

    •    Valid ID – Required for all attendees (18+ only).

CANNABIS CONSUMPTION REMINDERS:

    •    Know Your Limits – Start low and go slow. Edibles can take up to 90 minutes to kick in.

    •    Stay Hydrated – Cannabis + heat = dehydration risk. Drink water regularly.

    •    Don’t Mix With Alcohol – Especially in hot weather—it increases the risk of overheating or dizziness.

    •    Designate a Chill Spot – If you feel overwhelmed, head to our Wellness Garden for shade, calm, and grounding.

    •    Respect the Space – No public smoking outside of designated areas.

PRO-TIPS FOR ENJOYING THE DAY:

    •    Eat Before You Medicate – Empty stomach + edibles = nope.

    •    Buddy System – Keep an eye out for each other. Let someone know if you feel off.

    •    Use Sunscreen Regularly – Reapply every 2 hours.

    •    Pace Yourself – There’s a lot to see and do—no need to rush.
